Do you know of any schools or after-school clubs in the Amsterdam area looking to integrate technology lessons during the 2024-2025 school year? If so, NewTechKids has time slots open for Fall 2024.
NewTechKids is expanding the number of classes it teaches in Amsterdam during the 2024-2025 school year. Our teaching team is available to teach during school hours (our preference) or after school. We can teach children ages 4-12 in Dutch, English or a combination of both.
Our offerings are as follows:
Robotics and Coding: we teach students ages 7-12 how to design, build and code robots based on themes which can be determined in partnership with school administrators and teachers. We use multiple learning tools including LEGO robotics kits, Ozobots, Makey Makey, Microbits and more. Our classes typically last 1 – 1.5 hours. We supply all of the required equipment, including kits, tablets and laptops.
Digital Literacy: we teach students ages 4-12 all about digital literacy. Our classes include topics such as how technology works and is designed, online safety, protecting privacy and data, gaming and screen time, using AI responsibly, fake news and using digital productivity tools such as Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace. These classes typically last 45 minutes. We provide all of the required art supplies. Schools are required to supply tablets and laptops downloaded with the software we request.
