Music is the universal language for everyone, including kids.

Which is why NewTechKids is excited to continue our ongoing collaboration with IT company Schuberg Philis by being one of program partners for an event this weekend designed for the children of colleagues.

We’ll be teaching workshops which introduce kids 8-12 to computer science, coding and robotics. Kids will explore how robots can perform music by inventing their very own robot orchestra. Other workshops given by Schuberg Philis colleagues will focus on music and synthesizers.

Deborah Carter, NewTechKids’ Founder and Managing Director, says “There’s no better way for Schuberg Philis colleagues and their kids to get to know NewTechKids than seeing us in action. We’re especially looking forward to working with passionate volunteers from the company.”

Chantal Slootweg, Project Manager at Schuberg Philis, says “Parents working in the technology industry understand better than most the importance of providing kids with tech education from an early age. This event is a great opportunity for parents to teach their kids about what they do and encourage them to become curious and creative about tech.”
