NewTechKids invites kids ages 8-12 to join our weekly summer bootcamps taught at the Amsterdam Public Library (central branch and CC Amstel branch).

The thematic bootcamps will run Monday to Friday, 10:00 – 14:00 and will be taught in a combination of Dutch and English by professional teachers assisted by high school students with computer science and robotics experience.

Kids will have a snack break and an outdoor exercise break after lunch every day.

July 12 – 16: Robots Making Art
Kids will channel their artistic expression by creating robotic art: sculpture, music, drawing, dance and more. Register here. 

July 19 – 23: Around the World in 5 Days (SOLD OUT)
Kids will complete an around-the-world tour, inventing robots to survive in different geographic locations as they go. 

July 26 – 30: Robots Playing Games
Kids will design and code robots to play a series of games before developing their own robot game with strategy, rules and a point system. Register here. 

August 2 – 6: Division Q Spy Club
Kids will join the Division Q Spy Agency and invent spy gadgets that will make James Bond and his team jealous. Register here. 

August 9 – 13: Robots Making Art

August 16 – 20: Around the World in 5 Days
