Dutch IT Company Supporting Development of Future Technologists
NewTechKids is pleased to announce that Schuberg Philis, a leading IT company headquartered in Amsterdam, has decided to support our technology education activities.
Schuberg Philis’ support will include a financial donation which will allow us to extend our offerings to more children, including from low-income communities, and to develop new curriculum aimed at engaging both girls and boys with technology, computer science, programming and robotics in primary and high school.
In addition, NewTechKids will organize workshops and hackathons for the children of Schuberg Philis colleagues. Colleagues will participate in activities aimed at inspiring high school students to pursue technology-related study and career paths.
Deborah Carter, Founder and Managing Director of NewTechKids: “We are delighted to be collaborating with Schuberg Philis. Their team of passionate technologists and the cutting-edge IT projects they work on are great examples of the possibilities that tech education can create. Working with their team will provide us with a valuable source of insight and inspiration which we can bring into our classes.”
Maya Kukupessy, Executive Assistant at Schuberg Philis: “As a fast-growing IT company, we are very aware of how important it is to nurture the next generation of technologists in the Netherlands. With our support, NewTechKids will bring technology education to more kids, inspiring them from a young age to see technology as a problem-solving tool. Supporting NewTechKids’ activities allows us to take a proactive role in strengthening the pipeline of future talent.”
