NewTechKids is gearing up for our Fall activities and we want to hear from schools which are interested in our computer science and 21st century skills programs. We teach primary school children (4-6, 7-9 and 10-12 years) fundamental computer science and programming concepts which underlie all devices, programming languages, apps and technology.

Here’s how schools can partner with NewTechKids to bring computer science education to their students:

  • hire NewTechKids teachers to teach computer science and programming classes during school hours using our pedagogy, curriculum and lesson plans. We currently teach at Leonardo da Vincischool in Amsterdam;
  • allow NewTechKids to rent a space at your school  (with computers, in some cases) to teach our programs during after-school programs (parents pay); and
  • send teachers to NewTechKids’ teacher training programs which expose students to computer science and programming concepts using arts and crafts, pen and paper exercises, games and design and prototyping activities. Our next, five-week training program will take place from September 7 – October 5, 2016 at Openbare Bibliotheek Amsterdam. Read more and register.
