NewTechKids is looking for freelance student teachers or qualified teachers to join our team. The most important requirements are a passion for teaching, curiosity and the ability to function effectively in a small and creative team.
Requirements:
- must be bilingual (Dutch and English)
- must be professional teacher with degree from a recognized Dutch PABO or teacher training institution, preferably with a specialization in primary education OR a student teacher currently enrolled in final year of Dutch PABO program (teacher training)
- must pass police check
We do not require candidates to have previous experience related to computer science or technology education although preference will be given to teachers who have taught art, maker education (3D printing, digital fabrication), and LEGO Technic.
We’ll provide training in:
- our teaching approach: pedagogy, didactics and learning philosophy
- computer science theory
- lesson delivery
- tech teaching tools
