Exploring Climate Change Through Computer Science and Design

During our Fall school vacation camp (October 21-25, 2019), kids ages 7-12 explored the theme of climate change while learning about computer science, programming, design and digital fabrication. Introducing Nigerian Students to Programming

On June 4 and 5, 2019, NewTechKids organized an 'Intro to Programming' bootcamp in Amsterdam for 50 students from Lagos, Nigeria. Today’s teaching experiences at Beatrix School in Haarlem

NewTechKids spent the day in beautiful Haarlem, teaching students at the Beatrixschool. Our challenge: teaching students in two classes about programming in the context of automation with LEGO Mindstorms robots. NewTechKids back from teaching in the United Arab Emirates

We’re just back from our third, inspiring round of teaching in the United Arab Emirates. NewTechKids was invited to teach computer science workshops to children ages 8-12 during the 2019 Sharjah Children’s Reading Festival which took place from April 17-27, 2019.
