AI Literacy: What to teach and why?

For the past month and a half, NewTechKids has been slowly introducing AI literacy to students in groups 1-8 at IKC Metropool, a new primary school in Amsterdam southeast that is integrating tech education into its core curriculum. This is based on our belief that schools have to start teaching kids about AI as soon as they start school to equip them with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate the AI in their lives

Announcing NewTechKids Intro to Generative AI Bootcamp

With every second news headline mentioning AI, ChatGPT, etc., NewTechKids has decided to launch our first 'Intro to Generative AI' after-school bootcamp for kids ages 9-14. The bootcamp of four weekly sessions will take place on Thursday afternoons from 16:30 - 18:00 at the Amsterdam Public Library near Centraal Station, starting on June 29th.
