Week #1: 2024 Summer Vacation Bootcamp July 22-26, 2024
- During this NewTechKids school holiday bootcamp at the Amsterdam Public Library near Centraal Station, kids ages 8-12 transformed from passive tech users to passionate tech inventors. They joined Division Q, a secret spy agency tasked with inventing a variety of spy gadgets and devices. They learned about basic computer science and design, build and code a series of robots using LEGO robotics kits.
Week #2: 2024 Summer Vacation Bootcamp July 29-August 2, 2024
- During this NewTechKids school holiday bootcamp at the Amsterdam Public Library near Centraal Station, kids ages 8-12 transformed from passive tech users to passionate tech inventors. They took a virtual trip around the world and invent robots based on geography, culture and historical landmarks. Kids will learn about basic computer science and design, build and code a series of robots using LEGO robotics kits.
Week #3: 2024 Summer Vacation Bootcamp August 5-9, 2024
- During this NewTechKids school holiday bootcamp at the Amsterdam Public Library near Centraal Station, kids ages 8-12 transformed from passive tech users to passionate tech inventors. They became white hat hackers who invented, built and coded robots to stop naughty hackers from creating chaos. They learned about basic computer science and design, build and code a series of robots using LEGO robotics kits.
Week #4: 2024 Summer Vacation Bootcamp August 12-16, 2024
- During this NewTechKids school holiday bootcamp at the Amsterdam Public Library near Centraal Station, kids ages 8-12 transformed from passive tech users to passionate tech inventors. They invented robots which made, performed or became art: sculpture, music, sketching, etc. They learned about basic computer science and design, build and code a series of robots using LEGO robotics kits.
Week #5: 2024 Summer Vacation Bootcamp August 19-23, 2024
- During this NewTechKids school holiday bootcamp at the Amsterdam Public Library near Centraal Station, kids ages 8-12 transformed from passive tech users to passionate tech inventors. They brought well-known movies to life by inventing robots and robotic devices for them. Kids learned about basic computer science and design, build and code a series of robots using LEGO robotics kits.
Meivakantie Bootcamp #1 at OBA CentraalApril 29-May 3, 2024
- During this NewTechKids school vacation bootcamp of 5 daily workshops held at the Amsterdam Public Library, kids ages 8-12 invented robots and tech prototypes which created and performed art. Kids learned how to design, build and code robots and tech prototypes using LEGO robotics kits. Taught in combination of Dutch and English by a native Dutch-speaking teacher.
Meivakantie Bootcamp #2 at OBA CentraalMay 3-10, 2024
- During this NewTechKids school vacation bootcamp of 5 daily workshops held at the Amsterdam Public Library, kids ages 8-12 transformed into good hackers who invented, built and coded a series of robots to stop naughty hackers from creating chaos in a variety of scenarios. Taught in combination of Dutch and English by a native Dutch-speaking teacher. Girls and boys welcome. No previous experience needed. Subsidized spots available.
2024 Voorjaarsvakantie Bootcamp at OBA CentraalFeb. 19-23, 2024
- During this NewTechKids vacation bootcamp of 5 daily workshops held at OBA Centraal near Centraal Station, kids became innovative problem-solvers (astronauts, farmers, deep sea divers, artists and more) who learned how tech is transforming all fields and invented robots and robotic prototypes to solve exciting challenges . Girls and boys welcome. No previous experience needed. Subsidized spots available for kids with a Stadspas.
