- NewTechKids school vacation bootcamp of 5 daily workshops held at the Amsterdam Public Library, kids ages 8-12 will invent robots and tech prototypes which create and perform art: sculpture, music, drawing, etc. Will AI and robots become more creative than humans? Kids will learn how to design, build and code robots and tech prototypes using LEGO robotics kits. Taught in combination of Dutch and English by a native Dutch-speaking teacher. - During this NewTechKids school vacation bootcamp of 5 daily workshops held at the Amsterdam Public Library, kids ages 8-12 will transform into good hackers who will invent, build and code a series of robots to stop naughty hackers from creating chaos in a variety of scenarios. Kids will learn how to design, build and code robots and tech prototypes using LEGO robotics kits. Taught in combination of Dutch and English by a native Dutch-speaking teacher. - During this NewTechKids bootcamp of 5 weekly workshops held at the Amsterdam Public Library’s Roelof Hartplein branch on Tuesdays, kids ages 7-9 will learn about geography by taking a virtual trip around the world and invent robots based on geography, culture and historical landmarks: Egypt, China, the Caribbean, India, etc. Kids will learn how to design, build and code using LEGO robotics kits. Taught in combination of Dutch and English by a native Dutch-speaking teacher. Girls and boys welcome. No previous experience needed. Subsidized spots available for kids with a Stadspas.
