The earlier kids learn about computer science and digital literacy, the better.

Since many don’t learn these subjects in regular school, NewTechKids’ bootcamps are a great way to introduce them in a fun and social way. Too busy during the week? Register kids ages 8-12 for the school holiday bootcamps we teach during every Dutch school holiday period.

Taught in a combination of Dutch and English by professional teachers or experienced computer science instructors, our bootcamps take place Monday to Friday from 10:00 – 14:00 at the Amsterdam Public Library near Centraal Station. Kids discuss examples of technology before working in pairs to design, build and code a series of robots according to fun class challenges. There’s usually a nice mix of Dutch and international kids and our classes are a great way to expose Dutch kids to English and English-speaking kids to Dutch.
