NewTechKids is excited to start our next batch of workshops and bootcamps in early 2024.
We’re teaching workshops and bootcamps for kids ages 7-9 at the Amsterdam Public Library’s Roelof Hartplein branch in Amsterdam Zuid. These introductory camps are ideal for kids who like LEGO but have never done coding or robotics before.
The bootcamps for kids ages 8-12 taught at the Amsterdam Public Library near Centraal Station (OBA Centraal) are ideal for older children who are problem-solvers and who like invent/create/make things.

Theme: Around the World in 5 Days…with Robots
Kids will take a virtual trip around the world and invent robots based on geography, culture and historical landmarks.
February – March 2024 Thurs. Afternoon Bootcamp for kids ages 8-12

Weekly from February 1 – March 7 from 16:30 to 18:00
Time: Theme: Robots Imitating Plants, Animals and Humans (Biomimicry)
Kids will learn about biomimicry and invent robots to imitate plants, animals and humans.
2024 Voorjaarsvakantie Bootcamp for kids ages 8-12
Location: OBA Centraal near Centraal Station
Daily from February 19 – 23 from 10:00 – 14:00
Theme: Tech Inventors to the Rescue
Kids will become different tech inventors (astronauts, farmers, deep sea divers, artists and more) who invent robots and robotic prototypes to solve exciting challenges.
