Summer is around the corner so it’s time to get planning you child(ren)’s activities.
NewTechKids is pleased to announce that registration is open for its popular summer bootcamps. We will be teaching weekly bootcamps during the Dutch school holidays which take place from July 24 – September 1.
Kids ages 8-12 will learn how to become tech inventors by designing, building and programming a series of robots and robotic prototypes using LEGO robotics tools. We’ll also lead interactive class discussions during which we discuss the pros, cons and ethics of technology and brainstorm measures to make sure technology benefits humans.
Our curriculum is designed to appeal to both boys and girls and help kids with little to no previous experience with robotics and coding to bring their ideas to life. Kids work in pairs to develop problem-solving abilities, confidence and perserverence as well as teamwork, collaboration, creativity and communication skills.
Discounts for Kids from Low-Income Families: Due to the generosity of our donors, NewTechKids is able to offer heavily-discounted spots for kids with a Stadspas. We strongly believe that income should not determine access to technology education.
