NewTechKids Programming and Lego Mindstorm Bootcamp: 10-12 years
Has your child heard of Alan Turing and Enigma, or finite-state automata’? And not just because of the recent movie about his life. After this four-week bootcamp, your child will know about Turing and a lot more technology and programming concepts. Children will discover the basics of programming and automation through a mix of crafts, pen and paper activities and three classes devoted to teaching kids to program Lego Mindstorm robots. Concepts covered include programming, automation, commands, variables, feedback systems, design and testing, and algorithms. Classes taught in a combination of English and Dutch.
Please note: During the workshops, children will work in small teams to program NewTechKids’ Lego Mindstorm robots which cost approximately 400 euro per robot.
