Deborah Carter, one of NewTechKids’ co-founders, will be getting into bed with some interesting people on Friday, April 15th.
She’ll be joining 50 other global change makers during Bed Talk, an event organised by The Student Hotel in Amsterdam, and inspired by the lie-in staged by John Lennon and Yoko Ono at the Amsterdam Hilton Hotel in 1969. Bed Talks is a free event focused on making the world a better place.
She’ll be speaking during three sessions with Martin Johnson, a former VP of TOMS shoes, Antoinette Hoes, CEO of ad agencies Blast Radius and Wunderman, and Jay Assad, who runs The Refugee Company, a venture capital fund which finances the business plans of refugees who’ve recently arrived in Europe. She’ll also speak her mind during a talk show called “Make Way for the New Superwomen”, joined by Princess Reema Bint Bandar (a Saudi entrepreneur and social activist), Fatuma Abdulkadir (Kenyan lawyer and peace ambassador) and Antoinette Hoes (CEO of digital ad agencies and advocate of technology education).
