Discover Computer Science: 7-9 Years

During this bootcamp of ten (10) weekly workshops, kids ages 7-9 will learn the basics of computer science and how to use the thinking and problem-solving models behind it. Children will use a mix of pen and paper activities, games, and technology tools. Kids will begin by learning about hardware, computers and how parts work together before making the link to software, programming and coding. The course will end with children understanding key computer science concepts and how to solve problems by designing and programming LEGO Mindstorm robots.

The workshops will be taught in English and Dutch.

There will be no workshops on national holidays or during Dutch school vacations in North Holland (Amsterdam).
