Voorjaarsvakantie 2019 Computer Science Bootcamp: 7-12 Years

(Taught in a combination of Dutch and English.)

During this bootcamp of five, daily workshops during the Voorjaarsvakantie 2019, kids ages 7-12 will learn about computer science (the principles which guide all technology) by using and designing robots which can play popular (no tech) games. Kids will begin by designing and building robots to play traditional games before finishing by designing their own robot game, complete with rules, strategies and point systems.

Think Tic, Tac, Toe, Four in a Row, Chess, Dominos, Snakes and Ladders and Hopscotch. Kids will work in small teams to and take turns working as the team’s designer, builder and programmer. The tools used in the class will be Ozobots, LEGO WeDo and LEGO Mindstorms.

Our program will be taught in a combination of English and Dutch by a professional teacher with specialised computer science education training.

Please note: this is NOT an online gaming bootcamp!

Workshops will take place daily from 10:00-13:00 on the following dates:
