Spring 2017 Computer Science Bootcamp (10 weeks): 7-9 years

During this bootcamp of ten (10) weekly workshops, kids ages 7-9 will learn about computer science and how to use the thinking and problem-solving models behind it.

Kids will be challenged to apply computer science concepts to develop technological solutions to survive on Mars with limited resources and challenging conditions such as no oxygen and extreme weather.

The bootcamp will integrate a mix of arts and crafts and designing and building with LEGO Mindstorms.

Computer science concepts covered will include automation, programming, algorithms, loops, if-else statements, technological systems, sequence, event handling, variables, control statements, Data: Boolean, artificial intelligence and design process.

This bootcamp is designed to help kids develop computational thinking skills. NewTechKids also promotes bilingual education and our workshops will be taught in a combination of Dutch and English.
