We’re very proud to announce that Dr. Marja-Ilona Koski, our Co-founder, Lead Teacher and Head of Curriculum Development, is featured in a new report published by Kennisnet on computational thinking in Dutch education. (Kennisnet is the leading Dutch organization which produces research and advises government and the education sector on education and ICT.)

Marja-Ilona shared her Ph.D research findings on improving science and technology education, comparing the Finnish and Dutch approaches. She also highlighted the work of NewTechKids in providing computer science education for primary school aged children in order to help them understand fundamental concepts and develop computational thinking skills.
