NewTechKids is pleased to be joining NEMO’s inaugural Codestarter event which takes place on June 27th from 10:00 – 16:00 at NEMO in Amsterdam.
The Codestarter event is all about programming and will feature workshops, lectures and activities which cover everything from explaining how a computer works to programming a 3D printer and coding a robot. The target audience is children aged 8 – 12 years.
The big plus: it’s free!
NewTechKids will organize two workshops (held in a combination of Dutch and English) which will focus on concepts such as design processes, programming, testing and commands. Kids will design a robot head and then turn into robots to navigate a tricky obstacle course using their own code commands.
Sounds easy? Come and try it! Our two, 45-minute workshops will run from 12:30 – 14:00 in NEMO’s Boardroom.
